Hello, I was wondering if anyone might be able to provide me with some tips or a template on a letter asking for sponsorship. This letter will need to be generic, so that it can be sent to several different local businesses. This sponsorship is for my 11-year-old son who races Go-karts all around the county. The sponsorship would help to cover entry fees, tires, gas and motor rebuilds. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Thank you very much!

If you search through this site you will find a lot of discussion and suggestions for sponsorship letters. Essentially make sure you are telling the businesses what they get out of it rather than emphasising what you want. Write your letter then post it here for us to help you with it.
