hello,
following sentence which one is correct?
1)an analysis model is needed to
know how many extra-collisions actually brings up by the
power control protocol.
or
2)an analysis model needed
to know how many extra-collisions actually brings up by the
power control protocol.

The first one, Word, but it requires other revision, I think, also:

'1) An analysis model is needed to understand how many extra-collisions are actually brought up by the power control protocol. '


And are you sure that 'extra-collisions' should be hyphenated?
