I am very interested in working for an international organization which has a broad area of interests, such as NAME, and believe that my education and employment background are appropriate for this position. I feel I have a range of relevant skills that I can bring to your organization. My communication skills have greatly developed both through my work experiences and through my degree. During my studies I have not only written essays but frequently presented papers and arguments orally in seminars, occasionally employing the use of visual aids. Studying outside of my home country and my affection to intercultural issues greatly helped me to develop understanding of people from various backgrounds. In the classroom, in addition to my Major and Minor, I have pursued a comprehensive study of foreign policy, sociology, and economics. Outside the classroom, I have enjoyed leading organizations and initiatives (International Club and Multicultural/Black Student Union) that reflect my interest in creating cohesiveness and active citizenship among people. In COUNTRYNAME, due to a very small size of the NGO where I work, I have often had an opportunity to work independently on the daily problems which has strengthened my management skills. My high degree of motivation has been recognized by my colleagues. At the same time, organization of various projects which required close collaboration with our partners taught me a lot about the importance of integration and effective communication as well as working in a team where you have to value every member’s point of view and make collective decisions.
My personal characteristics and working skills, coupled with my enthusiasm to help others and learn from experience, make me a distinctive candidate for the Trainee Position at ORGANIZATION.
