I am fourteen years old and entering the
ninth grade at Monsignor Edward Pace High School.
Since
the age of seven, I have been playing basketball with
friends and family and on local teams.
Recently I tried out
for the Lady Spartans Basketball team.
Since I have been practicing
with them, the team has become
like a family to me. It
composed of
educated, kind and respectful young women who
share the same love
for and interest
in basketball
that I do. I am very excited to be joining a
team that has won the Florida State Championship three years in a row.
But as
my freshman year swiftly approaches, my parents and I
are facing a dilemma. The cost of
tuition, books, uniforms, basketball
uniforms, and
meals has added a
big burden on my parents'
finances. That
is why I
am wondering if your company would be interested in financially
helping me
to become a
well-educated Lady Spartans Basketball player.
It has been my dream
to play in the WNBA. With
