Dear teachers,
I don't know if there is any difference between "no less than" and "not less than" as shown in the following sentences.
There were no less than one hundred people at the meeting.
There were not less than one hundred people at the meeting.

There were no less than one hundred people at the meeting.  ( this is correct )  no less than means " used to show your suprise at a large number."

I only use 'no less' in my entire life so if you want to use 'not less', you must write something like this:

We need more students, not less.

I need more than that! Not less!

No less is to show the amount of something. That's what I can tell you Tongue Tied [:S]

    There were no less than one hundred people at the meeting.


         The words "no less than" mean that there were EXACTLY 100 people

         at the meeting.  The phrase no less than is used for emphasis.
