face without any makeup

We often say 'no make'. That's definitely Japlish. The very slangish word for that is 'SUPPIN'. I wonder if there are any such slangish words in English.

The opposite (this one is also very slangish) is KABENURI (wall painting). Any English equivalent?

Thank you.

For no make-up, I've heard "au natural", which, I believe, originates in French.

For too much make-up, usually an insult which calls into question the character of the woman is used. A reference to Clowns (Bozo is a famous one) is also common.

Doesn't "tarted up" work too?
