Could you please check if the following sentences are right?

No sooner had lacy snowflakes started descending than my view became a twirling whiteness.

No sooner had colourful fall arrived than winter dethroned it.

The first flower had hardly bloomed before the whole garden exploded with vivacious colours.

Hardly had dusk matured into night when dawn announced a new day.

Since he lost his notes, he decided to present using the information off the internet.

Prior to the presentation he lost his notes, so he decided to present using the information off the internet.

Thank you very much

The first flower had hardly bloomed before the whole garden exploded with vivacious colours.OK. You could also say 'when'

Hardly had dusk matured into night when dawn announced a new day. OK.

Since he lost his notes, he decided to present using the information off the internet. OK. I'd say 'from' the Internet.

Prior to the presentation he lost his notes, so he decided to present using the information off the internet.OK. I'd say 'from' the Internet.

Clive, could you please explain, if possible, what is the difference between OK and nice sentences?

Hi,

I meant that they were all OK, but in addition, #1 was pretty and #2 was elegant.
