I couldn't understand the underlined part in the following text:

In recent years, John has been an outspoken supporter of the Iraq War, the nobility of which he believes there "can be no doubt".

Shouldn't it be:
In recent years, John has been an outspoken supporter of the Iraq War, the nobility of which he believes there ''can be no doubt about''?

You're right and  you could have checked this at Google Books: 

 7 on "of which there can be no doubt about'

I had never been to the URL books.google.com, therefore didn't know about that feature. By the way, I did googled that expression using quotation marks which resulted in no help. Thanks for letting me know about this helpful feature.
