"Core-electron ionization spectra contain the information not only about inner core electrons but also valence electrons and chemical bonds."

Kindly advise me whether this sentence should be rewritten as "Core-electron ionization spectra contain the information not only about inner core electrons but also about valence electrons and chemical bonds." (addition of the word 'about')

With warm regards

Yes, you should include the second "about." Welcome to the forum, Elango!
