Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

David, with a red t-shirt, is a good table-tennis player.

Is 'with a red t-shirt' a noun phrase? No, it's adjectival because it describes David.

However, the words 'a red t-shirt' form a noun phrase So do the words 'a good table-tennis player'.

Best wishes, Clive
