Hi Mercha,

Welcome to English Forums.

1. origin - originate -original
2. enjoyment - enjoy - enjoyable

Get it now? How about trying it yourself? (Hint: your dictionary should be helpful.)

Hello, Anuke, and welcome to English Forums.

I am not sure what kind of rule you think may exist. There are certain noun-making (-tion, -ity, etc), adjective-making (-ious, -ial, etc) and verb-making (-ize, -ate, etc) suffixes, but there are no specific rules on which is used on stems. And sometimes two parts of speech have the same form, as in your examples:

verb noun adjective

base base basic
warm warmth warm

Again, there are no rules; you'll have to explore your dictionary.

Hi,

Please help me i dont get that
tnx

You are supposed to list the noun form, the verb form and the adjective form of the same word. I have done the first one for you, as an example. You might find it helpful to look in your dictionary.

Best wishes, Clive
