If you turn this number upside down, or reflect it left-to-right you get 11 either way, but the original number is not 11. What is it?

Is it XI ? Considering both ways the sum of  the numbers equals to 11. (X + I)=11  (I+X)=11 Big Smile [:D] lol I've made it up..just a silly guess..

Its not silly at all.... you're actually really close! But its not quite the right answer... remember, the original number isn't 11...

Edited: Also, this isn't a riddle. There's no trick in the wording.

Dj was nearly right on this one.

the number is IX (nine) turn upside down or mirror to give XI ( eleven).

Eargasm's was the answer I had, but thinking about it, anonymous number 1's answer seems to fit too! Smile [:)]
