Is it wrong if I say :
" I will be leaving for my home town on this monday"
In my opinion, "on this monday" is more standard and formal than "this monday" in this context.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks.
Goose.

. . . this Monday.
. . . on Monday.
"on this Monday" is a tad redundant.

It's OK, Goose, but as Casi says, the other two ways are better style.
