1. Could you open the window, please?

2. He opened the window.

3. Now there is an open window.   [This is correct.]

Is the second sentence fine?

The word 'open' is both an adjective and a verb.

So as a verb, the forms are 'open' , 'opened' and 'opening'.

You use an 'opener' to open canned food.

You will find an 'opening' in a water tank; If there is an opening, the water will leak.

2. He opened the window. fine

Now you can see the open window.

4. The window is opened.  [ Is this correct?]

4.
I prefer one of the following (but check the next post):

The window is open. (it isn't closed)
or
The window is being opened. (the passive; someone opens the window)

Now there is an open window.   Looks fine to me.

You will find an 'opening' in a water tank; If there is an opening, the water will leak.
no.  An accidental leak would come out of a 'hole' not an opening.
