Which one should I use when I list things: "IT CONSISTS OF X, Y, Z AND OTHER" (meaning other components)?
Thank you

Hi,

Generally speaking, 'others'.

But I think the syntax depends on the context. It's a matter of 'how it sounds'.

eg The guests at the party consisted of John, Mary, Tom and others. (even here, I'd prefer to say 'other people')

eg The furniture in the room consisted of a sofa, a coffee table, a bookcase and other items.
