Hi,

I wonder what's the difference between "parquet flooring" and regular "hardwood flooring"?

Thanks,

Isn't "hardwood", well, rougher? More "back to the real thing"?

That may be true in the countryside, but in the cities, you'll find many real estate ads with hardwood floors, and the finish is impeccable, polished, glossy, lacquered, etc.
