What on earth is correct?

I have been studying english for two years as has my brother.

or

I have been studying english for two years as has been my brother?

Probably the first?

Your first sentence is OK, but the second one isn't.  (Don't forget to capitalize the word 'English'.)

You could also say this:

I have been studying English for two years and so has my brother.

Hi,

Would you tell me why the present continuous after 'as' isn't good?

I have been studying english for two years as has been my brother?

.
Only the first auxiliary is used.

It's not a matter of continuous or not.  It's a matter of keeping consistent with how questions are made.  Invert the subject and operator.

Correct syntax for a question:  Has my brother been studying English?

Incorrect syntax:  Has been my brother studying English?  (Too many verbs before the subject.)

The same principle applies to other constructions in English, including the one we're discussing here in this thread.

Thank you.

I have been studying your post some time as has been given by you.-- Is this right?

Would you mind giving me some examples of other constructions that use the same priniciple you taked about?
