Hi,
If i received a wrong call (asking for someone person) what should be my reply.
Here is the senario , Person X calls to Y's place and asking for Z
x:"Can I speak to Mr Z."
now what should Y say ,which one would be the most appropriate reply (polite reply)
Y:"Nobody stays here with that name"
or
Y:"No such person stays here"
or
something else
Thank you

Both your answers are good, but if you need or want to be polite you should add "I'm sorry' or 'I'm afraid' to the beginning of the answer.
'I'm sorry, there is nobody here with/by that name. Bye Bye.'
Cheers

You can also say:
I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number.
