This was also another part of my homework that i did not understand to well. So could someone please check my work. and tell me if i am doing it correctly.

Identifying and Classifying Prepositional phrases

Underline the prepositional phrases in the sentence below. Above each phrase, write adj.phr for adjective phrase or adv.phr for adverb phrase

         Adj.phr

1. Many of the kittens have already been adopted.

           Adv.phr

2. Behind the art gallery is a little restaurant that serves great chili.

            Adv.phr

3. Mud poured down the mountainside, engulfing the little house.

              Adj.phr

4. The cow with the brown and white markings is named Bessie.

                                   Adj.phr

5. Have you seen the musical about the French Revolution?

                                                             Adv.phr

6. The bathtub was overflowing onto the bathroom floor.

   Adv.phr                                                                  adv.phr

7. Cowboys on horseback drove the wild ponies into the corral.

8. The wheel on the stroller was stuck and would not turn.
