In which sentence is the placement of the adverb correct? Is it a matter of taste?
He drove the car carefully.
He carefully drove the car.
Hi,
Also correct, but less common, is
Carefully, he drove the car.
To some extent, it's a matter of intended emphasis. It's also a matter of style.
Best wishes, Clive
