What other idiom means like

playing hooky,

Meaning that  you learnin nothing useful and remain incompetant

Hi,

Playing hookey Simply put, this means that you don't go to school when you are supposed to. The much more common phrase today is you skip class or skip school.

"ditch" or "ditch class" means the same thing.
