"When I was in eleventh standard, I developed a great interest in physical sciences and scored 99.16% in physics subject in eleventh and twelfth. These interests of mine lead me to choose Electronics and Communications studies engineering. During my engineering studies I developed good analytical skills and realized the importance of practical approach in the field of sciences. During second year of engineering I started teaching physics and mathematics to eleventh and twelfth standards and then to engineering students in my spare time, this experience of mine was very helpful and gave necessary motivation and confidence required to pursue higher education. When I was studying Analog and Digital communication during third year of engineering, I developed an inclination towards research and development work. Out of  this  interest I became student member of IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) student chapter , through its  seminars and publications like ‘IEEE Spectrum’ I have learnt about many emerging technologies like cloud computing with high speed communication ,64 bit QAM  and various developments and improvements taking place in  electronics industry.  As a part of IEEE member I participated and organized many national level conferences, such as STAC (Students Technical Awareness Conference) , SPAC(Students Professional Awareness Conference) and ADSOPHOS .I have done project on VOCODER during final of engineering which was entirely based on electronics and communications. I believe Communication industry has a lot of scope for research and development and like electronic industry many emerging technologies are dependent on it. Electronics technology which is an essential part of communication has also wide scope for aspirants; hence I have chosen Electrical field as major to pursue higher education. My areas of interest  also include  ‘high speed wireless communication’, ‘high secured telecommunication’,’ Digital Signal Processing’,’ Control Systems’ ,‘USI(Ultra Scale Integration  )’ and ‘Nanotechnology’ .

I was Motivated to pursue MS in KAUST because  KAUST has recruited scientists , professors and faculty members  form all over the globe on par with worlds top research institutions . Infrastructure, laboratories and student services are excellent and platinum rating given by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) to KAUST is inspiring. Collaboration of KAUST with worlds leading multinational companies like IBM ,Boeing and other private partners further increases scope of research for the students. I have been constantly updating myself about the developments in KAUST and every new strategy, collaboration and achievement of KAUST is increasing my enthusiasm to become a part of such a magnificent university.

My ambition is to do development and research work with capable faculty and students from all over the globe to explore and contribute to the ever growing demands of new technologies in the world. My keen interest and universities prime focus on research will definitely be motivational and helpful. I believe that under your able guidance, I can learn and explore to the best of my abilities and presence of Shaheen, Middle East’s fastest supercomputer in the university and ambience of surrounding red sea will be really motivational.  I am sure that you will find a disciplined and dedicated student in me, as well as I am confident and hopeful to get a chance to pursue my dreams at KAUST.
