                        Runescape is an online role-playing game. The player controls one character and plays the role of that character in the game. Runescape has better graphics than most other role-playing games that I have seen. It is a multiplayer game which means that you can meet other players, chat with them, or trade with the other players. The best thing about Runescape is that you can play it for free; if you choose, you can pay a few dollars per month to get some extra features. I personally like Runescape, but I don’t play it that much anymore because it tends to get boring after you have played it for a long time. Runescape is a great role-playing game, but it becomes boring when the player’s skills are very high.

                      First, Runescape is very addicting. I have used countless days just playing Runescape. When I started playing Runescape it was a whole new world to explore; everything was interesting. After a short time, Runescape became like a second life to me – A chance to get away from reality. Again, I could play it for days and it was a lot of fun to explore the world of Runescape. I have also made some friends in Runescape, but I don’t talk to them anymore. They stopped playing a little earlier than I did. A thing I still like to do in Runescape is to help new players to find their way around and ease a bit more into the game, but the truth is, Runescape is so easy to get into because of its tutorial and countless characters, which are part of the game, who will answer some basic questions. Runescape is fun and easy to get into because of the tutorial.

                      Second, Runescape is different from other role-playing games because you can do something else than just fighting. I quickly grew bored of the other games I found on the internet because all the player could do was fight monsters and buy new armor. In Runescape, there are many skills to do other than fighting. This gives a lot more choices of things to do when, in other games, all the player could do was fight. People have different goals for what they want to become in the game. Some people want to become a great chef while other people want to become things like craftsmen, warriors, miners, smiths, and mages. Some of the skills which players can level up in are attack, defense, strength, magic, ranging, woodcutting, fire making, cooking, crafting, mining, smithing, and several other skills.

                      Third, Runescape does unfortunately get boring after the player has played it for a long time. The higher levels you get, the longer it takes to get to the next level in that skill; therefore, if you have level 1 in cooking it is a lot easier to get to level 2 than if you were level 50 and wanted to get to level 51. Also, Runescape isn’t so exciting anymore because you never get lost and you know where everything is. The player can’t just go out on an adventure because he or she has already seen the whole game and knows where everything is. It also becomes boring because you have reached your goal already, or your goals are too far away, and you don’t seem to come that much closer to them.

                      Finally, Runescape is a great game; it is addicting, exciting, and more interesting than most other role-playing games. Unfortunately it does become boring after a while, but that doesn’t happen until you have played it for several months. I would give it a try if I were you. Runescape is, in my opinion, the best role-playing game on the internet that you can play for free.
