Hi Frank,
Welcome to the forums. Your main problem seems to be tense.
Today my friends and I have visited Grouse Mountain, in Vancouver, Canada. Usually with a specific day, use simple past. Present perfect is possible, but I think simple past is better here.
We planned to visit it last week. Does this mean you meant to go last week, but something changed your plans? Or do you mean "Last week we planned our visit."?
In the morning, we made an appointment at New Westminster at 8.00 am. Okay, I think. I'm not sure if you made the appointment for a later time?
We took the skytrain to the Waterfront station, got on the seabus to another bank- wrong word here and took the number 236 bus to Grouse Mountain.
We arrived there at around 10.00 am. Almost okay. Either We arrived there at 10 or We arrived there around 10, but not both.
We were almost shocked that we had to pay $35 for a ticket, but after visiting, everybody was satisafied with the visit, because they had never seen the snow.
