Hi, I'd like you to correct the below sentences.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In every language, 3000 basic words cover about 80 percent of the vocabulary of the language.

If so, why don't you learn ten words every day?

You can learn 300 words every month and reach 3000 (with)in just ten months.

Your grammar is okay, but your use of "vocabulary" isn't quite right. 3000 words isn't 80% of the (entire) vocabulary -- that would imply that there are only 3750 words in total. However, this core of 3000 words are 80% of the words used in normal conversation.

(We won't address whether the verb "have" or "would" is only one word and that the trick is knowing how to use those words correctly.)

Hi, thank you for your advice, GG.

How about the following one?

"3000 basic words cover 80 percent of the vocabulary included in most documents or contexts."

That seems to make sense to me.
