Inspection is pending on last Friday, your QC cannot sure whether the power cord were correct, which had approved by Kmart. Please help to release shipment. For your information, these cargoes were used 7A “Sino” power cord, and we will show on the invoice for your easy reference.

Hi,

Inspection is pending on last Friday, your QC cannot sure whether the power cord were correct, which had approved by Kmart. Please help to release shipment. For your information, these cargoes were used 7A “Sino” power cord, and we will show on the invoice

There are problems here, particularly with tenses, that make it hard for me to understand your meaning.

Inspection is pending on last Friday, Inspection has been pending since last Friday (?)

your QC (what is a QC?) cannot be (?) sure whether the power cord were (is? was?) correct, and has been (?) approved by Kmart. Please help to release shipment. For your information, these items use a 7A “Sino” power cord, and we showed this (?) on the invoice

Why don't you try to rewrite this and post it here again, so we can give you more help?

Best wishes, Clive

It is not my place to rewrite the writing and will not do it, but Clive, why did you not use "a" before shipment for the word "shipment" a countable noun? And if the cord name is a proper name or a blend name with "cord" being included in its name, you would not place "a" before that? Right?

Hi,

I didn't try to deal with those points for two reasons. First, the whole letter was written in a very terse, abbreviated, point-form style. Second, there were so many other errors of importance that I preferred to focus on those.

That's why I recommended that the author correct the points I mentioned, and then repost the revised draft here for further comment.

If that happens, please feel free to add your comments to that. You are entitled to, and should, express your views on these things. That's why people post here, to get a variety of comments.

Best wishes, Clive
