Can you please help to explain meaning of below sentences.
1) When I learned this basic technique, I found I had far more control over my moods.
> Does it mean now I no longer able to control my moods...? since the use of "had" which past, and it seems to implies that presently the ability to control my moods is unknown..
2) When I learned this basic technique, I found I have far more control over my moods.
> This implies till now I am able to control my moods.
