I saw your advertisement in the Daily Dawn newspaper on 27 January 2007. I am very interested in the position of Finance Officer. I graduated in commerce from the University of the Punjab in Commerce in 2003. I have taken an MBA in  Finance at the Federal Urdu University and am waiting for result.

After graduating from Punjab University with a degree in commerce, I worked as a Trainee Auditor at Masom & Co, a well-known audit firm. I gained solid basic concepts of accounting, vouching (I don't recognise 'vouching') , office rules and regulations, filing systems, the accomplishment of tasks in time, time management, analytical and problem solving skills there.

Then I joined Z-Communication (Pvt) Ltd a well known payphone company. There I was working as Accounts Assistant and was responsible for making payments, deposits and bank reconciliations , as well as generating innovative methods to improve the processes related to Accounts department. I also fine-tuned my communication and consensus building skills, as I often needed to present and market my work to middle and upper management.

Being an optimistic and creative team player with very good presentation skills and a wide range of interests, I am able to work self-contained - bad word choice. My personal strengths in analytical thinking, problem solving and identifying the determining factors of success, along with my very good communication skills, make me feel that I would be the right person for the post of Finance Officer.
