Subj: Request for increment

Dear Mr [surname],

With due respect, I would like to request a salary increment.

I have been working in this company for 2 years, and because of my small salary and the ever -increasing living costs, I am facing difficulties maintaining my family.

For the last 2 years, I have been independently managing the accounts, audit, budgeting and MIS reporting to the best of my ability, and I always try to give my best to the organization.

Thank you very much for your kind consideration of my request.

 Sincerely,
.

Dear Sir

I've been working for this company for 7 years now and i havent had any good increment since i started. I started with a rate of $6500 and to date, am earning $11,000. I do alot of work and which is why my work cant be online. I do COD pmts, serve the suppliers that comes in for theur payment and other related jobs which always disturbs me from concentrating.

At the moment, i am holding a Diploma in Business Accounting and when comparing my wages with some of the non qualifications staff here, then earn way better wages than i do.

Please if u can take my request into consideration as i will await ur reply

Yours faithfully

Janet

From $6500 to $11,000 seems like a good series of increases to me.  I haven't had a raise in 15 years.  I suggest that you rewrite your letter with more and better detailed reasons.

I, --, working in your esteemed organization as an Human Resource Assistant since July 2008, kindly requesting you to give me an increment in my salary since I have completed 1 year. Staffs who have joined the company after my appoint have got increment in their salary but till date I have not got increment.

I am doing my duties very sincerely and honestly to the full satisfaction of my superiors. I would be obliged, if my case is considered for an increment in salary.

Therefore, I am requesting you to consider my case for increment in my salary. I am sure I will handle more responsibilities which would enable me to enhance my skills as well.

This is for your kind consideration.
