Hello Everyone:
I work for the local government and I'm trying to understand the needs of local businesses so we can provide the most effective services. During this summer, I'm going to send out to the local businesses a survey, and along with it is a letter for them to know what the survey is about.
Would you kindly give me comments or any suggestions regarding the letter below? I'd appreciate your help a lot.
Dear _________:
We are glad that you are here and doing business in the City of Powder Springs. We kindly invite your assistance in a significant research undertaking City business improvement. We believe it can ultimately promote improved understanding and cooperation between the government and local businesses. The City is committed to know and understand the needs of current and prospective business to operate successfully. Accordingly, your participation is very important to us and will help us to understand how we can better serve you, the local business.
Your answer and all the information collected during this interview will be remained confidential. Only the overall results will be made public, and no specific business names or responses will be given out. Answering the questions on the survey should take less than ten minutes of your time. In addition, we would be grateful for any thoughts you may have regarding the overall situation in our business environment with respect to the issues you care about.
We hope to complete our research in September, so your earliest reply would be highly valued. We have enclosed some additional information about City economic development. We look forward to your responses. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
Sincerely,
