1,000 pcs of PD128 were inspected yesterday and there is one point need your verification, as earphone jack is black and does not match the golden sample (silver colored). After checking our records, we found that the silver (metal) phone jack was changed to black (plastic) at the end of 2006. However, we did not update the golden sample, which remained as per the 2006 version, and caused the inspector confused

We apologize for the error and would like to send a new sample for your approval, signature and return to the factory as the inspection reference for the future. An updated ECN report will be sent to your Engineering Dept ASAP.

Meanwhile, could you please release the shipment, so that we can meet the vessel closing on May 29?

Waiting for your promptly reply.

Hi Feebs,

Thanks for your help. Do you think the last sentence should be : Waiting for your promptly reply or Waiting for your prompt reply ? Thanks to advice.

Regards

I hope you don't mind my answering, although I'm not Feebs.

"Reply" in this case is a noun, so it requires an adjective: prompt.
