I have received parking violation ticket at school parking lot.
Fine is $75, my family having economic difficulty.
$75 is a lot of money to me, I
d like to file an appeal to school parking services.

I have no idea how to write an appeal. Please help me!

I purchase a parking permit and registered my own vehicle when I purchase it.

It is a sticker so I suppose to put it on the rear of the vehicle on the drivers side, either on the vehicle window or on the rear bumper.

Here is my situation,
I work for the used car dealership, I drive company
s car occasionally.
so I usually stick my parking permit on the rear of the vehicle window instead of put a sticker on window permanently.
That way I can take my parking permit to other vehicles when I am driving company
s car.
Anyway, I was driving my own vehicle that day I displayed parking permit on the rear of the vehicle on the driver
s side
but it was very windy day I was driving while my window was down
somehow my parking permit fall off from the vehicle
s window and it was on my backseat.
I didn
t know that until I see a parking violation ticket on my windshield.

My point is this school parking service has my car license plate number and all other information.
So I know it was my fault that my parking permit wasn
t displayed at that time but I hope you can excuse my situation.

Thanks

Do I need to write more formal way? Please fix all grammar mistakes.
Thanks for your time and help. :)

Here is a suggestion for you.

Dear Sir:

I received a $75 parking ticket on ***/***/***. I am appealing this fine because I do have a valid parking permit for my car that has been registered in your office since ***/***/***. I always display the permit in my back window, but on this particular day, the wind had blown it from the back window and onto the back seat.  I did not notice that it had fallen and was not visibly displayed. Otherwise, my car was parked legally. A $75 fine would be a financial hardship for me and my family, so I ask you to forgive this fine. I will be very careful in to future to make sure it does not happen again.
