I'll remember him my entire life as a great man who always struggled against war. I can't find proper words to describe him, not even in my own language.
At the beggining I felt very sad, really sad. But now I feel better, since I know he's not suffering anymore.

Incidentally, I was in Rome when he passed away and attended his memorial service in the Vatican. The huge (really massive) crowd that had gathered shows the respect he used to command.May his soul rest in peace.

I was in London for the mass in the Cathedral. The church was full and people were queuing outside in the square which was full to capacity. I have never seen so many pictures of the pope in all newspapers. A great and holy man who lived the gospel. We thank God for him. Sia lodato Gesu.

yesterday and today rome is in tilt for the huge crowd who want to see the pope in the vatican
there are a very long line of people, it takes 12 hours in queue to see Pope
it s incredible
there are an incredible number of pilgrimin Rome, about 1 million person

ps. a scoop: the price of things like coffee, snack, sandwiches, are increase in these days in Rome
