Dear Teachers,

1. I don’t usually get drunk easily.
-Is this ok?

2. Do you have more than three magazines in your home?
Why don’t we say “in your house” here?

3. – I gotta go now.
-I’ve got to go now.
-I have to go now.
-I must leave now.
-I’m leaving now.
-I’m taking off now.

-Are these the same meaning?

4. – Where are you now?
-Where’s your position now?
-What’s your position now?

- Are these the same meaning?

5. -The school will have no power/electricity until 7AM.
- The power/electricity will be on tomorrow 8AM.

-Are these the same meaning?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Dear Teachers,

1. I don’t usually get drunk easily.
-Is this ok?  Grammatically speaking-- Yes

2. Do you have more than three magazines in your home?
Why don’t we say “in your house” here?  They're pretty much the same.  Context might suggest one is better than the other.

3. – I gotta go now.
-I’ve got to go now.
-I have to go now.
-I must leave now.
-I’m leaving now.
-I’m taking off now.

-Are these the same meaning?  Essentially, yes.

4. – Where are you now?
-Where’s your position now?
-What’s your position now?

- Are these the same meaning?  In the same context of spatial reference, yes.

5. -The school will have no power/electricity until 7AM.
- The power/electricity will be on tomorrow 8AM.

-Are these the same meaning?  No.  The second will match the first as "The power/electricity will be on tomorrow at 7 AM."

Thanks a lot to Teachers,
