As Mr. Wood observed in the gloom of the immediate post-crisis fall-out in Asia:"There was only one real emerging market in the 1990s-the United States
How to understand the word "post-crisis" and "fall-out"?
Thanks,

post-crisis = after the crisis
fall-out = aftermath; resulting situation
Hence, "the gloom of the immediate post-crisis fall-out in Asia" = "the pessimistic atmosphere experienced in Asia during the period immediately following the crisis, when the implications of the crisis were just beginning to be felt"
