Sir,

As we write "post office" using two words "post" and "office".

Can we write "postcard" or "post card"?

"speedpost" or "speed post"

Thanks.

'Post office' is two words.

'Postcard' is one word, short form of 'postal card' (two words).

I am not familiar with 'speed post'.

The spelling check of Word doesn't recognize 'speedpost', but it does recognize 'speed post'.

Do you mean "express" by "speed post"?

express: a rapid, efficient system for the delivery of goods and mail.

In Japan today even dogs are learning how to bow-wow in English.

SpeedPost seems to be a courier service. They complete your every delivery requirement, but are somewhat erratic in styling their own name:

SpeedPost, Speedpost, Speed Post.

Hello MR.Pedantic,

You have correctly guessed it.

"SpeedPost seems to be a courier service. They complete your every delivery requirement."

This is a courier service in India but mostly taken care by Post offices(a government organization). The term "speed post" used only post offices. The private companies which provide such facility called it a courier service. They never use "speed post".

When we have to send a letter to a distance place quickly, we go to a post office and do the procedure for speed post. Otherwise, for a simple letter we just drop it in a postbox nearby.

Thanks.
