Dear Teachers,

- I think reading books helps me upgrade my knowledge and it's not bad as registering an overtime class. If I had more time I would register to learn more class to perfer myself more.

- I don't have much experience because I have just graduated, but I learned a lot of practical experience from my family.

Are these grammatical to write?

( By the way, what do you mean by it's not bad as registering an overtime class"? Registering an overtime class is bad? I guess you want to say that you dont have enough time, so you prefer reading books than joining some class, right?)

There's not noticeable mistake in this sentence. However, I wanna ask you one thing: Is practical experience not experience? Since you said "I dont have much experience" and then "I've learned a lot of practical experience", I'm a bit confused.
