What an extremely rude thing to say to this woman.  I hope you aren't employed in a school -- notice I refrain from even calling you ANY form of educator with the horrid attitude you've displayed here -- and that you NEVER are. 

The mother is teaching her son more she, and most likely YOU, could ever know.

I fail to see any rudeness here. All I see is a little humour and modesty.

Please note the person you are rebuking is a volunteer who has given his time to help hundreds if not thousands of people in this Forum.
