Hi,

there has been a tremendous change /between, in, from/ our ancestors' and our lives. I'd say

there has been a tremendous change from our ancestors' lives to ours ('to our own' is better).

there is a tremendous difference between our ancestors' lives and ours.

Best wishes, Clive

I understand the key:

change from .X..to..Y

difference between X and Y.
