Hi,
I practice from my grammar book and i stuck in some exercises.
EXERCISE 2 :
Write sentences to show present relevance using the present perfect Simple.
Example : His are is in a cast .(have/ accident)
He has had an accident.

My questions are:

1) She is a very wealthy woman now.(inherit/fortune)

2)"What time is it?"
"I don't know."(your watch/stio?)

3)Oh no! The front door of the house is open.(not lock/door)

Thanks.

Hi,

You should try first! Wink

PS: Are you sure about those "His are is in a cast" (in the example) and "your watch/stio?" (in sentence number 2)?

You're supposed to give a try first.

Hi,

1) She is a very wealthy woman now.(inherit/fortune)
She has inherited a fortune.

2)"What time is it?"
"I don't know."(your watch/stio?)
"Have you lost your watch?"
(I'm assuming the verb is "lose" but it might be something else ... I cannot understand that "stio"!!!)

3)Oh no! The front door of the house is open.(not lock/door)
I haven't locked the door. or I have not locked the door.

Ok, then it's as follows:

 2)"What time is it?"
"I don't know."(your watch/stop?)
"Has your watch stopped?"

Hi!

I wish I could, but I can help only in very simple matters ...  I'm not a native nor a teacher!

You can post your introduction in the writing section (here, for instance) and you'll find all the advice you need.

Good luck! Smile
