I am a bit confused with this: I want to tell something about the future, for example: "If it was open, then I will give it to you" is that correct in speaking?

If it is open, I will give it to you(On condition that it is open I will give it to you.)

If it was open, I would give it to you.(I would/was going to  give it to you but it isn't open so, I couldn't give)

Which one do you mean?

And to add the 3rd category:  If it had been open, I would have given it to you.  (It wasn't open and I didn't give it to you.)

You need to be a little more specific about what type of help you need. If you post a few examples of things that you find confusing, we can try to help you.
