Problems with quotes, emoticons, etc

"(there was no space after the last ] )" There was! I left it! I really did! I don't know why but sometimes it disappears. Do you believe me?.. But even if it doesn't disappear, it doesn't work. For example,  - I have left a space but.. You see! I am sure it is because of Opera. My Opera-reply-window and Explorer-reply-window are different! You can see it at the page #4 and #5 of this thread. One more example. I have left a space after this emoticone below. And is has disappeared! (At least, when I open Edit-window I can't see the space anymore.) 

Pieanne, you cannot edit all my messages, of course.

But I don't like Explorer at all because it has a lot of weak spots and is vulnerable to viruses. I had been using Explorer before for some time and caught at least two ones. I have been using Opera for over a year and have never had any problems all this time with viruses. That's why I don't want to use Explorer again. Opera is protected better in my opinion.

Besides, how I have already said, everything works fine in other forums and I can't understand why Opera (?) doesn't want to work properly here!
