The problem is definitely in Opera. I had to log in through Firefox in order to make corrections in a posting with BBCode.

Perhaps, but Opera works fine with other forums. I don't know why it's not compatible here.

Opera 9. I've got the same problems posted above.
Somewhy Opera doesn't work correctly with Visual Editor. This place is not the only one where my favourite browser works incorrect: IPB forums, for first one.
But FF and IE do well.

While I'm here, I'm using FF.
And the reason why this forum isn't working in Opera is simple. That's all because the FreeTextBox doesn't support Opera (need to say 'thank you' to its developers).

FreeTextBox is using here in order to add messages. <img src="/emoticons/emotion-1.gif" alt="Smile [:)]" />
