It depends on which programming language you are using.

For free hosting of your web site, searching on Google "free web hosting" would lead you to a list of free providers.

Hello. When you want to make your own program you have to learn a programming language. There are many programming languages then you can learn. For the beginning it´s better when you begin with language that is not to difficult. My introduction to you is the language C. For example the OS Linux is written in C. So look for a good book or a free tutorial in the internet and start. To be a good programmer you have to make many practise. That is the best way to learn it but you must have many motivation because sometimes it's very boring. So let´s start and have fun Smile [:)]

I can recommend C#, which is like JAVA.
Visual Basic is also a simple language to learn.

JavaScript can teach you some of the basics, and since it works with your web browser there's no need to acquire and install anything else.

well
I do share that it's better to start with easy programming language: especially if you aren't student with computer related program,
you can start with HTML ( and it's not programming language) and then move to JavaScript and then to Java.
In this way you will not have difficultiesa as you start with Java or C++, you can find a lot of resources to start in the web.
thanks
