Hello Hitchhiker!

How long can I wait so that I can also teach the grade schoolers on how to pronounce the vowels and its sample list?

I just need a list of words to pronounce (I'm not sure if you're after a "set" list or not) - I'm not a teacher..

A student here.

I have a list with the 12 vowel sounds, the 8 dipthongs sounds and the 24 consonant sounds.
The vowel sounds are not just "long" and "short", there are different combinations of sounds (e/a or a/o ) too.

The list is like this:

/i:/ sheep, green, eat, cheap, seat, feel, clean, please
/I/ ship, his, in, sit, ill, before, ring, this, is, bill, fish
/ei/ make, take, day, face
/ai/ bite, mine, wine, light, fire, five
/u:/ boot, blue, two, you, group, shoe, loose, moved
/u/ look, could, would, put, book, good,

Is that what you were asking for? If, I'll try to post the complete list.
