What is the proper pronunciation of a word ending in s'? Such as the sentance:

Jesus' apostles went to the well.

Pronounce a word with s' the same as the word without the '.

Jesus' is pronounced like Jesus.
Charles' is pronounced like Charles.
Louis' is pronounced like Louis.

Some style manuals recommend the forms Charles's, Louis's (but not Jesus's).
In this case the pronunciation is the same as the name plus "iz".

A certain student's name is Chase.

Chase lost his book.

Someone found his book.

Should I say, someone found Cha sez book (Chase's) or Chase book?
