Hi

"I had to carry a barley/or barley (without "a") with me" Which form is correct? Or may be "the barley"

Is it a good sentence: "Seemed like we would never meet again"

Also: 32C (Celsius) what is the equivalent of this in Fahrenhait, I think it would be around 65F. How do you think?

thanks

Are you talking about the "seed or grain of barley and its many varieties?"
Then:
"I had to carry the barley with me (in the trunk of the car)"

(It) Seemed like we would never meet again. Ellipsis of "it," but OK.

32C (Celsius): what is the equivalent of this in Fahrenheit? I think it would be around 65F. What do you think?

Hi

I counted, it's a bit more than 100F.  I should have written 39C

I would write "I was carrying some barley with me"

How do you think?

I'm talking about the seeds of barley for grinding

Different meanings, but both OK:

I was carrying some barley with me, when the police caught me on their radar.

I carried some barley with me yesterday.
