Can I change "acceptable" into "accepted"? If I leave it as it's original, which preposition does it need?

1. Is the proposal acceptable ...........you?

2. Is the proposal accepted by you?

1. means "could it be something which satisfies you?"
2. means "has it been already found as satisfactory to you?

very different meanings.
