I wanted to write a formal thank you letter to a newspaper; however, I am unsure of the underline/quotation/italicize rule when referring to the newspaper as a business.

For example, the sentence below refers to the newspaper as a business and not a periodical:

Dear Ms. Doe:

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my recent visit to *** and the opportunity to interview for the position....

Should *** be: The Sun News, The Sun News, "The Sun News" or simply The Sun News?

Academic papers have strict rules about how to write publication's names; in real life there are no strict rules.

Any of your options will be ok, but the underlined one would look a little odd.
