I put a few suggestions forward to the moderators but they glossed over it.

Is this sentence correct?

Please help me.

Hi Gary,

I suggest you keep "put forward" together.

"I put forward a few suggestions to the moderators..."

You really must remember to connect your pronouns - suggestion = it [singular]; suggestions = them [plural]

Ah, Feebs, interesting. I read it as "the moderators ignored my 'act of putting forward some suggestions' " rather than "the moderators ignored my suggestions." But I think you are right!
